November — Workshop proposals invited
November 24th — Biographies, images sent; administrator & delegate details confirmed
December — Performance & workshop details announced to delegates as they are confirmed
December 18th — Registered choirs may book and pay for rehearsal space through Various Voices
December 18th — ‘Big Gay Sing’ – outline with suggestions for repertoire and details of on-line voting announced for your favourite songs
December 18th — ‘With One Voice’ – Festival Chorus outline with repertoire, rehearsals and how to be involved
December 18th — ‘Sing for the Cure’ – outline with repertoire, rehearsals and how to be involved
December 18th — ‘Best in Show’ – VV Talent Show – outline of the show, how to enter
December 31st — ‘Standard’ delegate registration ends
2009
January 1st — ‘Late’ delegate registration opens
January 7th — ‘Best in Show’ talent competition on-line entries open
January 7th — Festival Chorus on-line applications open for:
- Carmina Burana + Commissioned Piece
- Sing for the Cure
January 12th — Priority viewing of confirmed programme for delegates
January 19th — Delegate ‘Early Bird’ priority bookings open with at least 20% ticket discount
January 28th — Concert Tickets go on sale to the public
February 1st — Cabaret Stages applications open
February 1st — Master-class applications open
February — On-line music download and learning centre opens
February 15th — Final details of each choir‘s repertoire submitted and approved
February 15th — Final details of each choir‘s technical requirements approved
February 27th — Delegate ‘Standard’ bookings open with at least 10% ticket discount
March 1st — Applications close for Festival Chorus, Sing for the Cure and ‘Best in Show’ talent contest
April 26th — Social Events Programme commences and will run until May 9th 2009
April 30th — Sing for the Cure rehearsals commence (PM)
May 1st — Various Voices Festival Opens - Southbank Centre, London - 10am Friday 1st May until 10pm Monday 4th May
May 9th — Final Festival ‘Chill Down’ social event
June — ‘The Big Thank You’ – Various Voices London volunteers and host choirs party
July — Various Voices Legacy plan published
